Oleksandr Svishchov congratulated Water polo club Dynamo Lviv on winning the Ukrainian Cup

The Ukrainian Water Polo Cup was held in Lviv on June 27-30. Teams from Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Zakarpattia took part in the tournament.

Water polo club Dynamo Lviv won the 13th Cup of Ukraine. Water polo club Mariupol became the silver medalist of the tournament, and Water polo club Kharkiv (NTU-KHPI-SVSM) won the bronze medal.

“Mariupol hasn’t been in the final for 10 years, it’s great to see this team competing for awards now. They played a very good game, I congratulate them and also congratulate Dynamo Lviv on their victory,” said Oleksandr Svishchov, President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation.

Water polo club Dynamo Lviv wins the Ukrainian Water Polo Cup for the 7th year in a row.

2nd place – Water polo club Mariupol

3rd place – Water polo club Kharkiv (NTU-KhPI-SVSM)

4th place – KIVS (Lviv)

5th place – the team of Transcarpathian region of UzhNU

6th place – “Lviv Professional College of Sports”

7th place – Kyiv team

8th place – Kharkiv region team

Dynamo Lviv player Kostyantyn Alekseev spoke about his impressions of the game: “My impressions of the game are positive. The weather was a little bit bad, it was parky. At the end of the game we were tired, but we pleased our fans.”
