Investing in youth: Oleksandr Svishchov and Leoland support master class by Elina Svitolina and Serhiy Stakhovsky

Oleksandr Svishchov, a well-known Ukrainian sports figure, president of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation and investor in sports infrastructure, shared details of a landmark event that recently took place on tennis courts in Lviv. The current legends of Ukrainian tennis and those who might replace them in the future met on the same court.

Leading Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina and former tennis player and current NGU soldier Serhiy Stakhovsky held a large-scale master class for young athletes from all over Ukraine. According to Oleksandr Svishchov, the event became a real source of inspiration for the younger generation.

A master class from the champions: Experience and motivation

More than 160 children gathered to practice their shots and get valuable advice from the star athletes. Elina Svitolina and Sergiy Stakhovsky not only demonstrated their techniques, but also shared their professional experience, secrets of success and the importance of discipline in sports in a lively conversation. This direct interaction with their idols became a powerful motivational factor for young tennis players.

Unbreakable in spirit on the court: Special guests of the event

The military, who came to the master class from the UNBROKEN Ukraine rehabilitation center, added a special atmosphere and spirit to the event. They did not stand aside and also came out on the court with the tennis players to hit a few balls. This moment emphasized the unity of Ukrainian society and mutual support in difficult times.

Development of tennis in the regions: Svitolina Foundation initiative

This event is part of a new format within the Svitolina Foundation program, which systematically works to develop tennis in the regions of Ukraine. The main goal of the Foundation is not only to popularize the sport, but also to form a new generation of Ukrainian sports leaders, providing young talents with opportunities for growth and development.

Leoland and Oleksandr Svishchov: The basis for future victories

It is noteworthy that the stars of Ukrainian sports once again chose LEOSPORT tennis courts located at the modern Leoland sports and entertainment center in Lviv for this event. This choice is not accidental, as Leoland, opened by Oleksandr Svishchov in 2022, has become one of the key bases for training young athletes and holding large-scale sporting events.

Such master classes are already becoming a good tradition for Leoland and its founder, Oleksandr Svishchov. For example, last March, Elina Svitolina and Serhiy Stakhovsky also held a master class at the Leoland sports complex for nearly five hundred young tennis players aged 6 to 16, which demonstrates the company’s long-term support for children’s sports.

In addition to his activities as the head of the Water Polo Federation, Oleksandr Svishchov is an active investor and philanthropist who makes a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian sports in general.

Investing in youth is a contribution to the future of Ukraine

Commenting on the event, Mr. Svishchov once again emphasized the importance of supporting young athletes and developing sports infrastructure.

“I am convinced that sport is an important element of national identity and development of the country. We will continue to invest in youth, sports infrastructure and water polo, as this is a contribution to the future of Ukraine,” said Oleksandr Svishchov, confirming his commitment to the development of Ukrainian sports and raising new generations of champions.
