Oleksandr Svishchov expressed his thoughts on the results of the second stage of the WP Tour Series

President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation Oleksandr Svishchov expressed his impressions of the second round of the WP Tour Series, in which Dynamo Lviv, the current champions of Ukraine, took part.

“Two defeats from the leaders and victories over outsiders were the key points of the analysis of the second round of the WP Tour Series from the players and coach of Dynamo Lviv and the President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation. “I am very pleased that our Ukrainian water polo players from water polo club Dynamo Lviv are playing in the WP Tour Series for the second year in a row. These international matches provide an opportunity for our players to gain experience, especially young water polo players, of whom there are many in Dynamo’s squad,” the president said.

“As for the second round, the result was a bit disappointing with the defeat to Novaks, but it’s a great opportunity for coaches and players to analyze weaknesses and work on them. We have good grounds for further development,” he added.

Oleksiy Shvedov, head coach of water polo club Dynamo Lviv, shared his impressions of the tournament: “The second round turned out to be challenging due to the absence of a key player, but it gave the team the opportunity to adapt and show their potential. Despite the difficulties, we were able to gain valuable experience that will help us in future competitions.”

Dynamo Lviv captain Oleksandr Dyadyura added: “The second round was harder, especially without our defender, but we look at it as an opportunity to solve problems and improve our game. The results may not be impressive, but each match has provided valuable experience for us.”

The team sees this tour as an opportunity for young players to prove themselves and prepare for the next stages of the WP Tour Series and the Northern League.
