Oleksandr Svishchov received a prestigious award for his contribution to the development of the state

Ukrainian figure Oleksandr Svishchov, a well-known sports functionary and philanthropist, was awarded the national Treasure of the Nation 2024 prize for his significant contribution to the development of Ukraine. This prestigious award is presented to individuals who demonstrate exceptional courage, humanity and patriotism, contributing to the country’s positive image on the world stage. The award ceremony took place during the opening of the artistic and educational project Prayer for Ukraine at the Kyiv Cave Monastery. This project, created by People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozyuk, was realized with the support of Mr. Svishchov. Tetyana Zabavska, president of the award and head of the NGO “Talisman of Humanity,” praised Svishchov’s contribution to supporting artists and preserving Ukrainian values. Volodymyr Kozyuk also noted the philanthropist’s role in implementing important cultural projects that have become a symbol of the unity of the Ukrainian people. Oleksandr Svishchov emphasized the importance of art in difficult times for the country, calling the Prayer for Ukraine project a powerful reminder of the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians. In addition to supporting culture, Svishchov is actively involved in rebuilding the damaged infrastructure, providing assistance to the military and civilians, and supporting hospitals and rehabilitation centers. For his volunteer work, he was awarded a badge of honor by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
