Zaluzhnyi, Horbenko, Kurko: military thanked Svishchov for helping the army

Another proof that Ukrainians are unbreakable was demonstrated by Oleksandr Svishchov.
His work has become an example for many Ukrainians.
His active support of Ukrainian soldiers was highly recognized by his commanders and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Active support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The year 2024 was a landmark year for Lviv philanthropist and sports functionary Oleksandr Svishchov.
He received many awards for his active support of Ukrainian defenders, including a letter of thanks from the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi. In March, Oleksandr Svishchov was awarded awards from the 125th and 103rd separate territorial defense brigades for his significant contribution to the provision of military personnel.
Oleksandr Svishchov received the award from the commander of military unit A 7381, Lieutenant General Artur Horbenko, and the commander of the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade, Valeriy Kurko. In April, he received the Golden Lion award from the commander of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo for his assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ivan Golishevsky presented the honorary award to the volunteer and philanthropist.

Supporting the most vulnerable

Oleksandr Svishchov continues to finance and support initiatives, including the following:

• Financial assistance to IDPs and infrastructure restoration.
• Support for rehabilitation centers.
• Funding for prosthetics for Ukrainian soldiers.
• Organizing charity events for vulnerable children and children of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

Mr. Svishchov was also awarded the “Treasure of the Nation 2024″ prize for his courage, humanity and significant contribution to the development and reconstruction of Ukraine.
This prestigious award honors Ukrainians who demonstrate courage, humanity and strength of spirit, work to strengthen the country’s positive image and make a significant contribution to its prosperity.
The award recognizes their selfless work for Ukraine’s victory.
In addition to supporting the army and the arts, Oleksandr Svishchov is a real driver of sports development in Ukraine.
As the President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation, he is actively developing this sport, as well as tennis and football, investing in the construction of new children’s sports facilities.
Recently, he was recognized by the Obozrevatel magazine as one of the top 10 leading businessmen in Western Ukraine who make a significant contribution to the region’s sports development.
