Oleksandr Svishchov: The main goal of Leoland is the comprehensive development of children and youth

A scientific and creative STEAM space for active and creative children has recently opened in Lviv at the Leoland sports and entertainment complex, said Oleksandr Svishchov, a Lviv businessman and investor in Leoland.

“Our specialists will teach English, open the fascinating world of chemistry and teach young guests to develop their creativity. We will work with children from 2 to 13 years old. We strive to make a place where children and parents will have warm and sincere emotions from visiting the center. That is why we are looking forward to welcoming parents with their kids to Leoland,” said Oleksandr Svishchov, President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation and investor.

Oleksandr Yuriyovych Svishchov opened the Leoland sports and entertainment complex in Lviv to popularize sports among adults and children. Under the roof of Leoland, there was a synergy of professional sports and active recreation. Now we have added a scientific and creative STEAM space.

The new complex has made it possible for athletes and everyone to play tennis and hold tournaments all year round, as Leoland has indoor courts with modern hard courts. In addition, the WRC has already hosted national tennis tournaments, Ukrainian championships among children and adults, which have not been held in Lviv for more than a decade.

Oleksandr Svishchov pays special attention to children and invests in the development of the children’s range. For his contribution to the country’s sporting life, the Obozrevatel newspaper named Oleksandr Svishchov among the top 10 businessmen in Western Ukraine who are actively developing sports.

As the president of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation and head of the Dynamo Lviv water polo club, Oleksandr Svishchov devotes a lot of time and energy to the development of water polo. During his presidency, the club achieved significant results. And today, Water polo club Dynamo Lviv became the champion of Ukraine in water polo among men’s teams in the 2023/2024 season ahead of schedule.

Oleksandr Svishchov also pays attention to women’s polo, he is the head of the Dynamo Amazon – Children and Youth Sports School. Ю. Kutenko (Lviv), who are now the leaders of the Major League.

Another Lviv businessman and sports functionary, Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, is among the top ten businessmen in Western Ukraine who are actively developing sports.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is the founder and honorary president of FC Ruh, who took over the adult and youth teams of the Ruh football club in Vynnyky in 2009. In 2018, the businessman created the Ruh Academy, which has a modern sports infrastructure, where students study according to a program developed on the principles of the academies of leading European clubs, and young athletes are trained by the best coaches. In 2023, the Ruh Academy won the Football Academy of the Year award according to Football magazine. And the young players of the Ruh U-19 team have twice in a row become champions of Ukraine among juniors and played in the UEFA Youth League.
