They are experienced water polo players who have to show their professionalism and win the tournament. The tasks for the tournament are maximum – the boys must win in every match and represent our country worthily in the sports arena. We need victories in sports, in such a difficult time for the country, we really want to please our fans with victories and at least lift their spirits a little. I am sure we can win the student games in Łódź. We want to see the boys on the highest pedestal of honor and for the anthem of Ukraine to be heard in Poland, precisely thanks to the victory of our water polo players,” said the president of the Water Polo Federation – Oleksandr Svishchov.

In total, 5,000 students from 400 universities in 40 countries will participate in the competitions during the European University Games in Łódź.
