Presentation of the movie “Hammer” in Lviv: Oleksandr Svishchov on the heroism of Ukrainian defenders
Recently, Lviv hosted a presentation of a powerful documentary film “Hummer” dedicated to the memory of Taras Bobanych, the commander of the 2nd Infantry Battalion who died in the war against Russian aggressors. This film not only tells the story of the hero’s life, but also becomes an important part of the history of Ukraine and its heroes.
Sports functionary, businessman and philanthropist Oleksandr Svishchov shared his impressions of the film, emphasizing its importance for Ukrainian society. He noted that the film will be shown in the United States, Canada and other countries so that the world can see the heroism of Ukrainians and hear the voices of our defenders. “The film’s authors have clearly conveyed Taras Bobanych’s idea that it’s time for us to be strong,” emphasized Svishchov.

Oleksandr Svishchov expressed his gratitude to Taras’s mother, father, and wife, as well as to the producer, director, and the entire film team for their work. “Many thanks to the military who told us about the Humvee and defended Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Armed Forces!” he said proudly.
During the event, Oleksandr Svishchov received a letter of gratitude from the military. They expressed gratitude for his support in the production of the film: “Only through the joint efforts of the best representatives of Ukrainian society will we be able to liberate the occupied lands of our homeland.”

2024 was a landmark year for Oleksandr Svishchov. He has received numerous awards for his active support of Ukrainian defenders , including a commendation from former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. In March, he was awarded insignia from the 125th and 103rd separate territorial defense brigades. In April, Oleksandr Svishchov received the Golden Lion award for his assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the commander of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, and was also awarded the Treasure of the Nation 2024 prize for his significant contribution to the rebuilding of Ukraine.
