Oleksandr Svishchov commented on the epic battle for silver in the men’s Super League

The President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation Oleksandr Svishchov revealed the details of the tense confrontation in the Men’s Super League.

“This year’s third round impressed with its dynamism and surprises. The Lviv team LFCS-Aquatico is particularly notable for its rapid progress. The teams of NTU “KhPI” Kharkiv and Water polo club “Mariupol” are no less interesting – their chances of getting into the top three look more than real.

I expect an exciting fight for silver and bronze medals. It is fundamentally important that a real sporting competition unfolds in the pool. Our goal is to create conditions for the growth of young water polo players. After all, they will soon form the backbone of the Ukrainian national team. Therefore, the main thing now is to provide young players with maximum opportunities to gain experience alongside veterans,” commented Oleksandr Svishchov.
